The Port of Montreal mobilized its entire partner ecosystem to implement an AI-driven solution that aims to fast-track delivery of critical cargo containers from the port to the market under humanitarian goals. The solution uses a natural language processing (NLP) algorithm to identify containers onboard vessels containeing critical medical cargo. Containers are identified prior to vessel berthing. Once offloaded, a visibility dashboard allows tracking and tracing of containers on dock to ensure speedy delivery to market to reach frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19. Saving lives, one container at a time.
