The digital twin project, developed in partnership with PreVu3D and drone operating company ARA Robotics as part of the Port of Montreal’s innovation program at Centech, integrates three-dimensional modelling of all port territory into interactive software developed by PreVu3D. The tool can be used for all kinds of purposes, such as creating a training platform for security and fire prevention staff, infrastructure planning and development, remote presentations to clients, and even augmented reality tours of the Port at the Port Centre, located at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal.
