The port authority will deploy automated drones as a strategic asset to support operational efficiency at the port by mid-2022. With this, it intends to support both enforcement tasks, the overall coordination of safety and security in the port and the management of the various infrastructure assets. The roadmap includes the realization of drone use cases such as infrastructure inspections, oil spill detection, perimeter security, ISPS coordination, support of Vessel traffic management and general situational awareness in and around the port area.
