Recently (January 2021) appointed Director of Innovation and Business Strategy at the Port of Barcelona. Previously Emma worked as Business Development Director (2010-2020) also at the Barcelona Port Authority, building up partnerships with customers. She started her career in Shipping in 1999, working at Transglory, a Freight Forwarder with Headquarters in Barcelona (Spain), being in charge of developing the agents network in Asia as the Director of Transglory Asia Ltd. with base in Hong Kong. Also, she has worked at Portic Barcelona S.A. (the Port Community System of the Port of Barcelona) as Sales & Marketing Manager. Her academic background is in Economics & Executive Education, specialized in Foreign Trade & Logistics.
